I'd recommend doing a full uninstall of the Zoom app, then restart your computer, and then download and install the latest version. That will hopefully get around the error code, and hopefully get you running more smoothly on Ventura. If that doesn't help, let us know and we'll get you in contact with official Zoom Support for more help.
What directions are you referring to? Is that the "full uninstall of the Zoom app, then restart your computer, and then download and install the latest version"? When I do that, it will not install. The installer says there is an error and to contact the software developer. I submitted this to Apple as well.
I have also had success on my M1 Max MacBook Pro.For those still having difficulties, there are additional files that Zoom (and other apps) install in several places on your computer. When you delete the Zoom app manually, you are probably missing some of those files, and that could be what is causing the problem. I used "All Uninstaller" available on the Mac AppStore and it got those additional files.Another thing to be careful of is what processor your Mac is using. On the Zoom downloads page, there is a note that you should click on an alternate link for Apple-silicon based Macs. That could be another source of problems. As many have said, there is no excuse for Zoom to have an update that just doesn't work with the newest release of software on Mac or any platform they support. They must not only be part of the Apple Developer Program, but actually test their code against release candidates to looks for problems like this.
Is there any ETA on when this will get fixed? Is there some type of service that will alert us when an update fixing this is available? Or, do I need to check each day? Like many others below, I was able to use my Zoom app on my Mac, but was getting prompted each time to run an update. Those all failed. So I tried downloading a new version after deleting the app and I cannot open the Zoom app. I get the message "You can't open the application "zoom.us" because this application is not supported on this Mac.
The following steps can used to install and update Zoom on any Mac without local administrative access permissions. Do not use your local administrative access to install zoom on a CSUMB asset because it will make future updates to the Zoom software more difficult and may require a service ticket.

The Mac app gives you more space for custom notes, tags, and event descriptions, all of which you can access from the dedicated info panel. What I love the most about BusyCal is its natural language support. Since I often find myself in the situation where I schedule multiple events in a rush, having BusyCal interpret my notes is super helpful. So my verdict is your Zoom download for Mac makes so much sense if you use it alongside BusyCal.
I dislike the Zoom website because they don't post information which is easy to locate, plus the download page will only display for the system used to access the website. Terrible web page design not to allow an option to select a different OS or easily display system requirements & compatibility.
When the client has finished downloading, it will leave you with a zoom.pkg file in your Downloads folder. Double-click on this and follow the instructions to install the software.
The first time you do this, Zoom will prompt you to download the smart virtual background package, so click Download and in a few seconds your new virtual background will appear behind you. If you want to return to normal, go back to the settings and select the None option.

In May, Microsoft is replacing the Zoom Mac Outlook plugin with a new add-in. If you are a Mac user and have installed the Mac Zoom plug-in for Outlook, you will need to uninstall the plug-in. You can then download and install the Zoom for Outlook add-in to continue scheduling Zoom meetings directly from Outlook.
If not uninstalled by May 1, the old Mac plug-in may not load when you attempt to schedule or start meetings. While IT Services recommends that you download and install the add-in for the same ease of experience, you can also schedule Zoom meetings from Zoom's Web Portal.
Click here to download the Company Portal for Windows. This application can be used to download and install software like eduroam wireless, Microsoft Office, and Matlab onto your Windows laptop or desktop.
Tip: the Zoom app will download automatically when you start or join your first meeting, however if you wish to use the app, it is recommended that you download it in advance to ensure you have everything set up prior to your meeting.
Any faculty, staff, or student with a Zoom account can install the Zoom client on their personal and institutional computers. Zoom must be downloaded as a program on your personal computer (Note: lectern PCs already include the software), and the process is the same for both Windows and Apple machines. Additionally, there are also optional extensions to Chrome and Firefox browsers and apps available on iOS and Android tablets and smartphones. 2b1af7f3a8
