If you are a manual user, this is a very nice option to have as the YN622 is a very good manual trigger. The delay is set to 4 seconds before the camera is powered on and the shutter is opened. I don't know how this is programmed in other radio triggers, but I don't see why it should be different from the YN622. You only need to press the flash button of your remote control to open the shutter. The mode selection is immediate and very simple. The only function missing is the total exposure time option which is only available on the A75 series of cameras. But that's about it. This trigger is very easy to use and really come in handy when you're in a hurry to take your photo. The problem is that it's very small : the battery (and its mount) are at the front so it's almost impossible to find at the bottom of your camera bag even if you have a carrying case for it.
This trigger came with a small screen on the back displaying all the information you need : battery status, power on/off, channel on/off. This screen also has the menus for the main functions (power, mode, flash, manual on/off, mode and channel of the audio source,..) and you can select this menu with your remote control : press on the arrow button for a choice (up/down) and then press the button for the desired menu
If you are a flash user, this trigger is very nice because the HSS is set to 4s (it can go down to 1s) and you don't need an IR filter. You can also use a filter for regular daylight photography to cut the IR light. In addition, if you want to control the power of a flash, it's very simple, but the UI is very bad : you have to press the two buttons on the top (the one with the batteries) to select the flash power : one button selects the power level and the other is to confirm.
If I were to go for another one, I would get the ST-E2 with the HSS. But there are far superior triggers out there. Because this one is excellent for backup and just a good trigger. If you are a manual guy, it may be hard to leave the pocket wizards behind.
These triggers are also great to have a cheap backup or spare trigger. They have a price tag that is reasonable and they are not difficult to use if you have a manual switch on your camera. However, if you have a camera with an auto switch on it, you must use the TLL. Which is not hard. It is like a trigger and a control. You must get a YN622 (or another) to use the TLL. So it is kinda that plus TLL and no screen.
The YN6xx series also has a screen which is small and bright, YN622 has a small but bright screen which is really essential for triggering. The YN622 also has the best manual control in the YN6xx series with an OLED screen.
Next week we'll be revealing a new set of mods for Destiny 2 which are yet to be announced. It's time to cover off the most exciting part of any Destiny 2 update, the Mod World Update.
Some applications, such as Java, require that the application directories and libraries are updated to a newer version before the user can update. However, there are some applications that are not explicitly API-specific, such as the X Window System, the X server source code, are automatically updated as required. 827ec27edc
